January 28th '03 - Jumpa Dinner Party

The next Progressive dinner party won't be on the 1st March as this clashes with a School Event - so watch this space for a revised date. Sorry!

January 15th '03 - Events Coming Soon

There is a Burn's Night on Sunday 26th January (7.30 for 8), £8.25 per person including food and live music. There will be a vegetarian option for those who don't want haggis!

On Saturday 22nd February at 8pm there will be a quiz night (quiz masters Ollie and Steve) with proceeds to Jumpa. £2.00 per person with prizes for teams of 4.

You can sign up for these events in the pub or contact Martin/Gwyneth.

Looking further forward the next edition of the Gossip will include details of the forthcoming travelling dinner party in aid of Jumpa. The date is still to be confirmed. There will be a form in the next issue of The Gossip for those that are interested. The first one was enjoyed by all - even the hosts!

This will be a busy weekend because don't forget the Irish Harp and Guitar Concert in the Methodist Chapel on Friday 7th February at 7.30pm. Tickets are £7/£5 - telephone 670507. This will be a blend of Irish and Scottish music , jazz, bluegrass and baroque . It sounds great fun and if it is as good as the last concert it will have people talking for weeks so don't miss it!
